One of our core kaupapa is education. We believe an educated community is an empowered community.
We welcome visits from schools, community groups, and organisations. We can tailor any educational visit to the specific needs and skills of the visiting group. The community garden is always open to anyone who wishes to learn about our regenerative gardening and composting systems.
We work closely with EnviroSchools, and we encourage any school to get in touch and explore what opportunities we can offer your ākonga. At the Hub, we have the Rethink educational space, which offers a range of interactive displays and learning experiences specifically for tamariki. From craft sessions to waste workshops, we can host a wide range of educational experiences in our Rethink space.
We love to learn from our community too. Is there a sustainable initiative you’d love to learn about? Do you have skills that could benefit the community? We’d love to hear from you.
